The Anglo-Zanzibar War

The “Shortest War in History,” the Anglo-Zanzibar War between the United Kingdom and Zanzibar on August 27, 1896. It was all over in 38 minutes when Zanzibar’s only warship, the ageing Glasgow, was sunk by two shells.
